This Little Piggy Went to the Market

We went to the market in Sisophon because it is bigger, and I promised Radek that he would get to see lots of gross stuff.  It's a 15-20 minute ride there, so I gave Radek a surgical mask of his very own.  I think he inhaled enough minerals the night before.  The sight of us on the highway almost caused a few accidents as Cambodians slowed down, craned their heads around like owls, and stared at us in utter disbelief.  Not only were there two barangs on a moto...the girl was driving!
We were a little disappointed at first when we started walking around the market.  As it was a Friday, there weren't as many vendors, and certainly not as many old ladies chopping up fish or plucking chickens.
Eventually, we did find what we were looking for: vile meat products covered with flies, baby octopi, squid, fish drying in the sun, etc.
The ultimate winner in our quest for offense was the smiling pig head who was happily holding a piece of his own body in his mouth.
